The aim of this group is to work on development and technique with the boys and girls setting them up for a long career in cricket.

Where possible and dependant on progress and development, we feed the younger players into the social team on Sundays to get real full match day experience where they learn a huge amount about being a team, winning together and yes, sometimes, losing together, but it all forms part of the overall development program.

We have a keen eye on individual development and take time to work with players one to one as often as possible.

Regular use is made of the bowling machine where players can hone their skills in judging line and length while getting used to facing faster bowling in a controlled environment.  Bowling itself is also a huge part of the development process and everyone is taught and developed in this area.

Overall the aim is to be able to produce well rounded skilled and technically able players to continue on a career in cricket for years to come.

Training takes place on a Friday evening at the club from 6.15pm till 7.45pm where the bar is open and the BBQ is on in full swing, and all are welcome, never played before and experienced players, all are welcome at our village club.
